Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal activist and writer who was awarded numerous Awards. Her films comprise Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) as well as The Getaway ( 1972). When she was in New York, she was born and raised into an artistic family. After working as an assistant to photographers then she turned her attention to acting and modeling. MacGraw was awarded her Golden Globe Award, for the most promising young talent. MacGraw's 1970 feature film Love Story was an international smash, and earned the actress the Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. Within just three short films she was the highest-rated female box office star worldwide. Her footprints, handwritten in 1972 as well as her signature were inscribed at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Also, she appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, and other films. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography, of hers was published. MacGraw has been married three times.
