Angela Maria Ani DiFranco (born Angela Maria Ani DiFranco) is an American as well as a Canadian singer-songwriter. She has released more than 20 studio albums. DiFranco categorizes her music under the terms folk-rock and alternative. But it contains influences such as punk, hip-hop and jazz. Ani DiFranco was the very first artist to establish her own record label in 1990. Ani is widely considered as a feminist icons.
