Katherine Jean Bolduan professionally known as Kate Bolduan is an American journalist for the broadcast industry. She is best known as anchor of the CNN morning program At This Hour. In the past, she was a co-anchor of the CNN weekday morning program New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan was a part of CNN's award winning coverage of presidential elections 2012 and the 2016 presidential election. She has also served as an official correspondent for the congressional office at Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan's reporting on congressional activities and other events in her time as part of the Capitol Hill Unit included the discussion to increase the debt ceiling for the US, as well as discussions by the super-committee. Bolduan has worked as an assignment reporter for general assignments, covering such stories as the Christmas Day 2009 bombing attempt as well as the Supreme Court's historic decision regarding Obamacare. Also, she covered the implementation of government stimulus plans in 2009. In 2007 she became a part of CNN as a correspondent for the national with CNN Newsource. As a CNN Newsource National Correspondent, she broke breaking news stories to 800 CNN Newsource partners and provided news reports on features. The stations she worked for were NBC News, MSNBC, and WTVD-TV. She currently is a resident of New York City with her spouse and two kids.
