Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding - born Elena Jane Goulding (30 December 1986) in Hereford (England) She is an English singer/songwriter. Ellie Goulding, a British singer-songwriter who rose to fame in 2010 after her hit singles Guns and Horses and Starry Eyed caught public attention. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding stands at the cutting edge as are Kate Bush and Imogen Sheap, of mainstream contemporary music and of independent, hip-hop that is arty. Her soprano voice and knack for writing emotionally honest songs make her unique. Polydor Records eventually signed Goulding to a major contract. The album she released was set to release.
